Description
An adjustable lighting piece inspired by the contemporary Japanese dance ‘Butoh’. Four elongated rays of light representing limbs and joints, creating formations of expression linking body and mind.
Butoh dance is an external representation of internal notions. It evolves and creates an individualised wholeness. NU derives its modifiable capabilities from the basic bend/ twist motion of a limb joint. Combined with illumination, it generates an interactive environment for exploration of light sculpting.
