Scope of works
Funded by the QLD state government to the tune of $15.8 million, the Darling Point Special School Project was undertaken to provide an upgrade to the outdated existing building and facilities, and deliver a new learning facility to meet with rising demand in the area.
The new 3- storey building will house new classrooms, learning areas, a collaborative space for the staff, amenities, an under croft, multi-purpose areas, and storage rooms. To address both curing of the concrete, and residual moisture content within the new concrete subfloor floor, X200 Densi Proof® was specified and applied to the substrate surface to eliminate the risks associated with subfloor moisture and the applied flooring installation systems. X200 Densi Proof® eliminates the need to apply membrane curing compounds and the costly and time-consuming process required to remove them whilst allowing for reduced preparation and providing a substrate compatible for the installation of topically applied flooring systems.
