UCD Agile Offices in Ardmore Annex were designed to create flexible, fun and innovative workspaces. Typically, when a space gets smaller it also gets darker; the main challenge here was always to maintain an optimal level of light within the workspaces, whether the wall is open or closed. Hufcor’s Type 100K walls were installed with bright white, high-gloss magnetic markerboard providing an acoustic rating of 39dB. The surface can therefore be used by all students and becomes part of the room concept.
