HAWA-Frontslide 60/A-Symmetric 2 is a dependable hardware system for manually-operated or electrically powered sliding shutters, with different fitting options. Attached to the ceiling or window lintel, the top track screws directly to the load-bearing surface. An angled profile support is available for wall fitting, whereby the top track secures to the support profile using special assembly screws supplied by Hawa. When it comes to aesthetics, aluminium covering screens in natural anodized or plain finishes (for custom painting) simply clip-on to the inside or outside edges of the top track. The system offers a further plus-point with the toothed belt, where a single movement can operate a pair of shutters in symmetry. In buildings with an air gap behind the façade, open window shutters can slide out of sight into the void between the building wall and the façade.
