Acoustica’s AcoustiFlex® SQ reduces traffic noise.
AcoustiFlex® SQ flexible noise barrier is highly effective against external noise from aircraft, motor vehicles, rail transportation, neighbouring properties and adjoining offices. Greatly reduces noise at construction sites when hung from an overhead structure or draped over temporary fencing. Available as AcoustiFlex® SQ 27, AcoustiFlex® SQ 29 and AcoustiFlex® SQ 31.
AcoustiFlex® SQ consists of a flexible micro-cellular membrane bonded to an aluminium facing foil and reinforced polyester backing.
AcoustiFlex® SQ has a tested acoustic rating of Rw 27 and is only 2.5kg/m2 (nominal) and has a thermal insulation rating of R1.8.
AcoustiFlex® SQ has extremely good sound attenuation over the full frequency spectrum.
At only 2.5mm thick, it makes integration into any external application very easy!
Note: The transmission loss at the frequencies of 100 and 125 Hertz have been estimated as test site conditions were not suitable for measurement at these frequencies.
