ATDC™’s S07-2™ configuration is an innovative stack minimisation technique that can be used for doors like scissor doors.
It involves installing the trellis door (models S05™ or S06™) on a double parallel top tracking mechanism so that the door stacks back to one or both sides in two stacks, one folding behind the other and so reducing the side compaction dimension.
One needs to be mindful that the support structure for scissor doors, both top and sides, needs to accommodate the increased dimension required by the parallel tracking arrangement as per the technical specification.
