Taylor Construction recently delivered two state-of-the-art educational buildings for School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) at Darcy Road Public School. The new facilities comprise 45 contemporary learning spaces, a library, canteen, administration areas, and staff amenities—designed to support modern, flexible pedagogical approaches.
To support this vision, Bildspec supplied 44 Moove glazed acoustic sliding doors, each achieving an Rw32 acoustic rating. These high-performance partitions enable seamless transitions between open and enclosed environments, promoting spatial adaptability while maintaining acoustic integrity—essential for dynamic learning environments.

In addition, 26 Series100 operable acoustic walls, rated at Rw45, were installed, mainly in the school’s auditorium. These precision-engineered solutions allow the large volume space to be effortlessly reconfigured into smaller zones for social interaction, group activities, or performances—enhancing both utility and user experience.
All specified products met strict project requirements, including Green Star Certification (Global GreenTag Level A), compliance with AS1428.1 for accessible design (operational force), and adherence to AS1288:2021 for glazing safety in buildings.
