ATDC has installed one of its market-leading folding doors to secure Adidas’s newly opened retail tenancy at Spencer St, Docklands, in Melbourne.
PRODUCT DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS.
This expansive, bi-parting, black powder-coated market-leading folding door, 11000 mm wide x 3300 mm high, was manufactured from heavy-duty extruded aluminium sections to secure Adidas’s newly opened retail tenancy at Spencer St, Docklands. The curtain infill consisted of 200mm wide stacking panels with clear polycarbonate.
A number of up/down locking mechanism allows for a secure product requiring no floor track, no removable mullions and no headroom. An overhead support beam to support the weight of the door is always required.
The door followed the curvature of the angled tenancy line through two (2) X 90-degree curves to a 600mm standard radius.
Project managers for this installation were Dandenong South-based Associated Projects.
