ATDC has recently supplied its cutting edge S08 curved folding security door to secure the curved lease line perimeters of two island kiosks to the food court for a project by Singapore’s Housing and Development Board.
PROJECT DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS
Approximately four (4) custom designed curved folding doors were supplied on this unique project each door spanning approximately 9.5metres in width x 2700mm in height and each door traversing 2 x 90-degree curves through a standard 600mm radius. Each system was fabricated in easily manageable sections through a series of intermediate up/down locks which facilitate seamless lock up without the need for any cumbersome removeable mullions or clumsy removeable floor track. The 40mm x 40mm extruded heavy duty top track in turn provides a further advantage in that it obviates the need for any overhead headroom clearance requirement (whilst however still requiring an overhead support structure)
SPECIFYING ARCHITECT
The Specifying architect for the project was Singapore based MKPL Architect. Project managers and builders were Ancon Anda Pty Ltd.
COLOUR RANGE
The doors on this project were supplied in a standard black satin Powdercoat. Pearl white is an additional standard powder coat option. Special finishes are available at a premium at with an extended lead time.
WARRANTY
12-month warranty against defective materials and workmanship applies. With the project being located in Singapore, the customer agreed to purchase additional shares of key components to facilitate speedy repairs and service in the event of any functional issues in the event they develop over time.
