Consider the ConceptWall 50-High Insulation (HI) façade and roof system. It was a dream product for the arena’s designers and fabricators, offering a blank glass wall in which many different types of openings can be built, such as easy-to-operate windows and doors. The ConceptWall 50 system also allowed installation of additional ventilation options in top-hung windows – a welcome feature in crowded venues such as the Arena.
Getting thousands of people safely in and out of a stadium is a challenge. That is why Humo Arena’s designers called on our durable ConceptSystem 77 door solutions. Optimised to deliver superior safety and comfort, this highly insulated system features as enormous glass doors, measuring 2.4 metres in height and width. Designed to last, the doors are fitted with industrial-strength hinges that allow for up to one million opening cycles.
Moreover, in a country where winter temperatures can plunge below freezing for months, ConceptSystem 77’s first-class insulation properties are also a very welcome quality, cutting energy bills significantly. Its considerate, sustainable design reveals Humo Arena’s intentions of becoming a welcoming mass-event venue for future generations to enjoy.
